 (compliments of NASCAR)Are we, the fans, just spoiled from the last few exciting races? Or was the All Star Race just boring? The afternoon started off with an exciting qualifier when A.J. Allmendinger dumped Elliot Sadler (taking lessons from his teammate?) and went on to win. Surprise or conspiracy when Kasey Kahne won the fan vote? There are rumors that Elliot Sadler won, but couldn’t race with a wrecked car. And what was with the jungle beat introductions? Since when does NASCAR have to imitate a reality show? This fan was disappointed in this year’s All Star Race. It was more exciting to watch Big Brown canter away from the field at Pimlico! |
