Hendricks ' First Win At PIR

312 laps is the way to go! No time for hanging back, get up on the wheel and race all the way. Hopefully Pocono and Fontana will take note of this success!

Fans got to see a classic duel the second half of the race as Mark Martin in the 8 battled Dale Jr. in the National Guard 88 for the lead. Dale Jr. held the lead until lap 271, when he had to pit for fuel. With such exciting racing, it was disappointing to have the race end on fuel mileage. But Chad Knaus gambled and Jimmy Johnson won the first race for Hendricks this year, with Clint Bowyer 7 seconds behind.

Dale Jr. finished 7th, climbing to 3rd in the standings.

For the second week in a row, Kyle Petty went home. Look for a major change!
